about Carrie

Carrie Huang joined Wang Architects having graduated with a dual degree in bachelor’s in architecture and bachelor’s of science in architectural engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. She became a full-time employee after three years of summer internships with the firm.
 

At the university, she participated in the annual Seismic Design Competitions hosted by EERI alongside other architecture and engineering students as a lead in the architecture category, and has traveled to the San Francisco, Seattle, and Berkeley competitions from 2023-2025.
 

On the weekends, Carrie enjoys various arts and craft projects from drawing to knitting to baking. She also loves to visit various public spaces like museums, botanical gardens, and parks.
