Wang Architects

A Texan native, Alexis received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. She spent a semester studying abroad, exploring the architectural fabric of 9 different countries - and concluding with two months of university in Paris. Through her research, she developed a strong interest in designing equitable architecture that increases social mobility and strengthens communities. 
 

Before joining the Wang Architects team, she worked as a project designer at a small boutique firm and focused primarily on residential architecture and interior design. At Wang Architects, Alexis is currently working on a new mixed-use urban infill project and the renovation of a prominent church.  
 

Outside of architecture, Alexis can be found outdoors exploring trails around Austin, or visiting breweries and trendy cocktail bars in search of a favorite weekend spot. She also stays active by playing competitive volleyball with friends and practicing yoga, which is balanced out by her love of food and desire to eat her way through the city, one taco at a time.
